Radu Lupu

We have in the last few days heard that sadly Radu Lupu has had to cancel his engagements for the rest of this year due to a shoulder injury. He does, however hope to reschedule this concert at some time in the future.
Obviously this is a great disappointment since it promised to be the highlight of the season. However we are delighted to say that François-Frédéric Guy, who proved to be such a success with his Beethoven Piano Sonata Cycle, has very kindly agreed to step in at short notice.
Hilary Battye, the Club's chairman, is writing to members about the changes.
People who have purchased tickets for the Radu Lupu concert, do not wish to attend the concert by François-Frédéric Guy and require a refund should contact Prelude Records, 25b St Giles Street, Norwich, NR2 1JN (Tel: 01603 628319). The same applies to people who do want to attend François-Frédéric Guy's concert but require a refund of the difference between the ticket prices for the two concerts.
