Elias Quartet

We follow these rising stars in the exploration of the complete Beethoven quartet cycle. This season we present the first three of six concerts spread over two years.

Beethoven I

Sunday 2nd December 2012, 5:30pm

Pre-concert discussion on the Beethoven Quartets between Misha Donat, Roger Rowe and members of the Quartet at 4:15pm

Beethoven II

Sunday 24th February 2013, 5:30pm

Pre-concert talk on the Beethoven Quartets by Misha Donat at 4.30pm

After the concert there will also be a discussion with members of the Elias Quartet in the main auditorium. (Please note that these arrangements are rather different from those previously announced.)

This concert is being recorded by BBC Radio 3 and will be broadcast at a later date.

Beethoven III

Sunday 28th April 2013, 5:30pm

After the concert there will be a discussion with members of the Quartet. This will be chaired by Misha Donat.
