Past artists have included Nigel Kennedy and Stephen Hough. This collaboration brings six of their exceptionally talented young artists to Norwich for a unique concert. This will be complemented by Chapel concerts for the Sitkovetsky Trio on Friday 19 March at 7.30pm and Clara Mouriz on Sunday 21 March at 12 noon.

Beethoven Piano Trios
Beethoven’s first published works were piano trios (Opus 1), written when he was in his early twenties and out to impress the Viennese public. He continued to write glorious music for the magical combination of piano, violin and cello for the next 15 years, culminating in one of his real masterpieces, the ‘Archduke’ Trio, dedicated to Archduke Rudolf, in March 1811.
The Guarneri Trio of Prague, considered by many to be the finest piano trio in the world today, will play three concerts to include all the works which Beethoven wrote specifically for this combination of instruments, including the famous ‘Ghost’ Trio and all of the Variations which were so popular in the drawing rooms of Europe during Beethoven’s lifetime.
A unique opportunity to hear this great music played by some of the world’s finest musicians.
